At JobBayz ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to upholding the trust of our job-seeking candidates ("Talents"), employers, and platform visitors. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, processing, and disclosure of personal data collected through the JobBayz web application, APIs, candidate matchmaking services, and related subdomains.
By registering an account, submitting candidate profile information, uploading a curriculum vitae (CV/resume), or interacting with our automated job application services ("1-Click Apply"), you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information necessary to deliver high-precision AI job matching and streamlined recruitment workflows.
A. Account & Registration Data
- Full Name, First Name, Last Name (normalized for display privacy).
- Email address, hashed password, referral codes.
- OAuth single sign-on metadata (GitHub, Google profile ID and email).
B. Candidate Profile & Resume Content
- Work experience history, job titles, company names, project descriptions.
- Technical skills, software proficiencies, educational background, certifications.
- Desired job titles, compensation expectations, remote work preferences.
- Uploaded CV files (PDF, DOCX) and portfolio link URLs.
C. Payment & Subscription Metadata
Payment processing is powered securely by Stripe, Inc. JobBayz does not store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank details on our servers. We store Stripe customer tokens, subscription status (e.g., Candidate PRO Plan), and billing cycle timestamps.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertising networks. Data is shared exclusively under the following circumstances:
- With Hiring Employers: When you click "1-Click Apply" or submit an application for a specific job posting, your candidate profile, resume, and contact email are shared directly with the posting employer.
- Legal Requirements: Disclosure if required by law enforcement, court order, or to prevent fraudulent activity and protect system integrity.
Security & Retention
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures:
TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 database storage protection.
Strict database connection pooling and parameterized query protection.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, your profile records and uploaded files will be permanently purged within 30 calendar days.
